The Code of Honor
This code is not a choice but the inevitable result of years of trial, error, and growth. It is as much a reflection of my journey as it is a declaration of my values. Adhering to these principles has often been a hindrance rather than a help, yet I remain steadfast. This is who I am.
- Vanilla is the New Chocolate: I am a staunch advocate for pure, unadulterated code. I adhere to the philosophy of "vanilla" development, eschewing the crutches of frameworks, engines, plugins, or third-party code, except in the rarest of cases. To me, there is unparalleled beauty in understanding and mastering the foundational building blocks of technology.
- App Stores Are the Abyss: I vehemently oppose the notion of app stores as the ultimate distribution platform. For me, the web is the ultimate medium of accessibility and freedom, unshackled by the exploitative policies and forced updates imposed by app stores. They are, in essence, mechanisms of corporate greed that erode the intrinsic value of software over time.
- AI: A Double-Edged Sword: While I hold a certain disdain for the way artificial intelligence is marketed and utilized by the masses, I cannot deny its immense potential. AI, when wielded with precision and purpose, is a formidable tool for technical innovation. The advent of "smart algorithms" has filled a long-standing void in programming—one that I have long yearned to see addressed.
